Who Is Haylee?

Haylee Is one of the strongest most amazing people you will ever meet. Her smiling face and laugh can light up a room.  She has had more than a fair amount of challenges growing up and always seems to come out stronger in the end.

Haylee started her battle with Cystic Fibrosis at birth when she required surgery on just day two of her life. Her diagnosis of Cystic Fibrosis was life changing for our family and the beginning of an incredibly challenging journey for her.  Growing up in Billerica, Massachusetts, her challenges with CF have lasted her life time, from regular pulmonary clean outs at Mass General Hospital to the regular need for nebulizers, enzymes, oral and IV antibiotics, PICC Lines, Pulmonary function tests, handfulls of pills every day and more.

Never letting any of those things slow her down, Haylee played softball growing up. She loves swimming and hanging out with her many friends. She is a tremendous big sister to Jenna, who also battles CF.  She graduated from Billerica Memorial High School in 2015 and went on to earn her Bachelor's degree in Business with a concentration in Accounting in 2019 from Salem State University. Upon graduation, she began her career at ALKU in Andover, Massachusetts as a payroll administrator.

Haylee volunteers with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, annually helping plan and organize the CF Cycle for Life. She has been involved in the event since birth when her family founded the event. She has also travelled to Costa Rica , working with Strong Missions in assisting the disadvantaged people of Costa Rica.

Despite her health challenges, she does not her CF define her. She is a FIGHTER.
